Nev Britton has again had a fantastic run at the Australian Titles.Nev went thoughthe heats well and finished only 1 point from starting in position 1 in the final.

At the start of the final Nev got a tap and had to come through the field back to 2nd place but did not have enough laps to take the Title but still finished in 2nd.Not bad in an Australian Title.

Nev has had a Great season finishing 1st in the Victorian Title,Finishing 2nd in the Queensland Title,And finishing 2nd in the Australian Title,not bad at all Nev well done.

we have some great news the club has purchased a new quad to help push start the karts,so we now have 2 quads and aslo Steve Robertson helps out with his quads at sapphire.

Welcome to the south coast speedway kart club website.We still have a bit to learn about the site but the more we use it the better we will get.

Our clubs championship got underway with a great night of racing at Sapphire Speedway.We had 8 drivers competing which was excellent so early in the season,3 drivers were new to sapphire and had a ball,the track was in perfect condition and everyone had a great night with all drivers finishing all 5 rounds(no engine failures)

we have a busy racing schedule with 15 events held at 3 different tracks Sapphire,Surfair and Nowra Speedways,hope to see everyone there.

I would like to welcome Jadan Roxburgh to our club . Jadan had his first try at junior speedway karts on Saterdaynight at Surfair Speedway and although overawed with his first four laps ,warmed to the task as the night progressed and was all smiles at nights end . More juniors to drive with Jadan would be most welcome Nev.

 The club would also like to welcome new junior driver Dylan Goodger to it ranks.Dylan drove his first race meeting at surfair speedway and he told me it was unreal,well done to the young drivers and it would be great to see more juniors out on the track having fun.

Hi there all,a big congratulations to Nev Britton & Gavin Wesble for A fantastic job in both of them winning the Queensland Titles.

Five South Coast Kart Club Members travelled south to Broadfor,Victoria on Feb 9th to contest the Victorian State Title in three divisions,standard,open modified and outlaw.

Leigh Manning,Michael Gibbs,Steve Robertson,Gavin Wesble and Nev Britton faced stiff competition from a classy feild of mainly Victorians and South Australias.

Leigh,Michael and Steve fared with mixed results and will no doubt benefit from the experience of competing in such elite company.Gavin nipped his engine during the warmup laps and suffered for it throughout the meeting.

Nev had a stellar performance in the heats winning two and achieving two third placings.In the open modified final Ben Telindert and Nev had a race to the first corner with ben getting there first,he was unable to shake Nev who pressured him throughout the race but was unable to pass himand went on to be awarded Victoria 2.

Nev is looking forward to doing one better in the Australian Titles which will be run at Mildura in March and also the NSW Titles in April at Surfair Raceway,Moruya.
